Flex Pricing

Flex Pricing gives you more options to plan a Zoo visit that best fits your budget and schedule. Plan ahead and save! Tickets are available through February 28. Child and senior tickets are 20% off the price shown.

Online reservations are required for all non-member and non-CityPASS® ticketed guests at this time. Members are not required to make online reservations to visit the Zoo. CityPASS® ticket holders, simply bring your CityPASS® tickets to any ticket taker for entry.

Tickets will NOT be sold on-site at the Zoo. We do not offer refunds and exchanges. Learn more about the modifications you can expect during your next Zoo visit.

Student Tickets

If you attend one of the Houston-based college or university schools listed in our FAQ below, you can get one free general admission ticket to visit the Zoo. Online reservations are required and you must present a valid student ID when you have your ticket scanned at the gate.

Free Zoo Days presented by ExxonMobil

Free Zoo Days presented by ExxonMobil at Houston Zoo are provided once a month, on the first Tuesday of each month, from open until closing. Online reservations are required for all non-member guests at this time. Tickets will not be available at the gate.

Tickets for January and February are sold out. Tickets for March and April will be available to reserve on Wednesday, February 26 at 7:00 p.m.

Student Discounts

Currently, all non-member guests, including students, must make online reservations. Registered students from the Houston-based college or university listed below can enjoy free general admission. You must present a valid student ID when you have your ticket scanned at the gate. Please note that each student is entitled to one free admission only.

Tickets are available for purchases of 20 or more General Admission tickets. Discount will be reflected at checkout.

U.S. Military Discounts

We offer U.S. veterans and active military 50% off general admission tickets for up to five guests all year long (2 adults and 3 children). A reservation is required.

You MUST show your proof of military service when presenting your ticket(s) for admission.

Reserve Tickets

Lone Star Discount

You can purchase up to two adult and three child tickets at the Lone Star discount rate, which covers SNAP & WIC benefit recipients. Other members of your group will need to purchase a ticket at regular admission price. Ticket reservations are required online. Tickets will not be sold on-site.

Lone Star Membership
We’re excited to offer memberships for guests who currently receive Lone Star (SNAP and WIC) benefits. Enjoy unlimited visits to the Houston Zoo at a special discounted rate. Learn more about the Lone Star Family Membership.

Child Discounts
