Our Mission: “By promoting connections with the natural world through diverse learning experiences, we strive to empower others to inquire, act and conserve.”
For teachers, parents and children alike, the Houston Zoo is a great place to combine learning with fun. The programs are educational, the animals interesting, and the Zoo staff is always ready to make your educational experience both wild and wonderful.
Whether it’s during your family visit to the Zoo, a Zoo camp experience, or an experience off-site with our ZooMobile, we’re always working to promote conservation awareness and action—and thereby cultivate in everyone we touch an appreciation of the natural world and its many wild inhabitants.
Escape to an entirely different learning environment. We invite you to take a closer look at the many learning programs and opportunities the Houston Zoo has to offer.
Each new Zoo adventure connects participants of all ages with the natural world.
