2. Navigate Parking Your Broom

With cooler temps and fall festivities, traffic and parking will be busier around the Zoo and Hermann Park. To help you avoid increased traffic, allow for extra time and check out our recommended parking options, including carpooling, rideshare, the 6400 Fannin parking garage and the METRORail. To get to Houston Zoo from the METRORail, you’ll need to ride the Red Line, exit Memorial Hermann Hospital/Houston Zoo. You can walk through the brand new Commons at Hermann Park to reach the Zoo’s main entrance from both the METRORail stop and parking garage.
