Enjoy festive lights and cozy nights at TXU Energy presents Zoo Lights this holiday season! Zoo Lights is happening now through January 5, 2025 from 5:30-10:30 p.m., with last entry at 9:30 p.m. We’re thrilled to share new dazzling light displays, including our Whimsical Wildlife Tree at the end of Reflection Pool, our immersive Twinkle Trail sponsored by TC Energy in African Forest, Geo Prism Safari sponsored by PNC Bank, and more colorful displays. Plenty of Ticket Options
During Zoo Lights season, buy tickets early for the best price! With Flex pricing, you can pick the day and time that fits your schedule, as well as your budget. Ticket prices may be higher on weekends and around holidays.
Zoo members save 20% when you log in to the Zoo Lights Member Portal to purchase. We also offer a 10% discount on admission for military, first responders (firefighters, police, and EMT), and educators throughout Zoo Lights season! Limit up to 5 tickets.
Plan Ahead and Arrive Early
Traffic and parking can get busier around the Zoo and Hermann Park during Zoo Lights. To help you avoid increased traffic, allow for extra time and check out our recommended parking options, including parking at the 6400 Fannin parking garage and taking the METRORail.
Holiday Treats
Make your Zoo Lights visit complete with festive gear and delicious treats. When purchasing Zoo Lights tickets, enhance your visit with a hot chocolate souvenir tumbler, s’mores kit, glow ornament necklace, and more. Plus, we’ll offer hot cocoa (including a spiked option), beignets, and more festive treats.

Help Save Animals in the Wild
Help save animals in the wild and recycle your old or broken holiday string lights at the Zoo’s main entrance until January 5, 2025. Over the past 6 years, 35,831 lbs of holiday lights have been recycled at the Zoo — that’s the weight of six female Asian elephants! Just by attending Zoo Lights, you are helping save animals in the wild.
