Enjoy TXU Energy presents Zoo Lights without the kids – at Sip & Sparkle at Houston Zoo on Thursday, November 21! Stroll through the Zoo and take in the sparkling holidays lights, stopping to taste wine along the way. While you’re there, don’t miss the illuminated dance floor, colorful holiday light tunnel, sparkling photo ops throughout the Zoo, and much more!

Tasting Pass – $59
Includes a tasting card, souvenir wine cup, and six 2oz. wine samples. Additionally, wine is available for purchase for $9 per glass and additional tasting cards are available for $18. Credit card only. Beer, hot chocolate, and other beverages are available for purchase but NOT included on the tasting card.

Event Pass Only – $45
This ticket allows you full access to Sip & Sparkle without the wine tastings.

Adults 21+ only. No one under 21 will be permitted to attend the event. Last entry at 8:00 p.m. Last pour at 9:30 p.m.

Spiked hot chocolate will also be available for purchase during this 21 & up event. Tasting Passes are ONLY valid toward wine.  

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this event only open to guests 21 and up?

Yes, Sip & Sparkle is an adults-only event for guests 21 and up. No babies or children are allowed. Guests without a valid photo ID will not be permitted to enter.

Is the event only limited to wine?

The tasting pass includes six 2oz. wine samples. Additional tastings, pours by the glass, beer, hot chocolate, and other beverages will be available for purchase.

What food options will be available?

There will be plenty of food options available during Sip & Sparkle, including our full menu from Cypress Circle Café, as well as our kiosks around the Zoo. Place your order online ahead of time from Cypress Circle.

Where should I park?

Our main parking lot is located at 6200 Hermann Park Drive, and parking will be available throughout the Hermann Park parking areas.

What happens if it rains?

This event is rain or shine. There are no refunds.

Is smoking permitted?

No, smoking is not permitted at the Zoo.
